Trinity's Dora the Explorer Cake
This was for My daughter Trinity's 2nd Birthday. She is huge Dora fan and she wanted a Dora cake for her party. I was trying for a Topsy Tuvry cake, but failed. So it became a slightly tilted cake. I did the bottom and top tier Rice Krispies and cake as the middle tier. I covered it with marshmallow fondant and used modeling chocolate for everything else. the middle two picture prove that I'm not perfect, but I just cover the cake with decoration or turn it toward the wall. I had so much extra cake leftover from carving the topsy turvy that I made call balls for my family party. The cake ball where a huge hit, everyone loved them.

Cedric's Tractor
Cedric, same nephew that I made the first train for, wanted me to make his 4th birthday cake. I was so happy that he asked me to do it. He told me that he knew that I would do a good job, so he choose me to make it. He wanted a tractor cake, but to be orange and to have the eyes like the tractors on "CARS" the movie. I was going for the look of a tractor in the field, but decided I wanted to try making animals with modeling chocolate. I made the Tractor out of Rice Krispies and covered it with modeling chocolate. The cake I covered with marshmallow fondant and used buttercream for the grass. I'm so glad that I did the animals, they made the cake look amazing. Cedric loved this cake! He stared at it for over 30 minutes.
